Binondo

We begin our tour in the Guadalupe Ferry Station where we take a safe and comfortable catamaran and explore Manila through the Pasig River. The 45-minute ride ends at the Escolta Ferry Station.

We walk to the Escolta, a famous commercial district in the Spanish and American period. It still has a law prohibiting men without neckties to walk on its street. Relive the "Peace Time" years as old Art Deco buildings that survived the Second World War try to take you back to Binondo's glorious era.

A short walk leads to the baroque Sta. Cruz Church and shops selling gold, medicinal herbs, and a variety of goods at affordable prices. We proceed to the plaza, the usual venue to celebrate Chinese festivals. In front of it is the Binondo Church where Filipino patriots, Andres Bonifacio and Gregoria de Jesus were married.

Eat at different food stalls in Binondo and have lunch in a restaurant that combines Chinese and Filipino cuisine. Let our guides show you the district's best kept secrets.
